Miranda Lambert’s ‘Four The Record’ came out yesterday &  I couldn’t be happier with the result. I thought it might be hard to live up to an album like ‘Revolution’ but Miranda is once again showing different sides to her and experimenting with her voice and music.

Here are the standout tracks in my eyes:

“All Kinds of Kinds”, “Look At Miss Ohio”, “Fastest Girl in Town” and “Fine Tune”.

Miranda Lambert is on the cover of the upcoming issue of Billboard Magazine.

I didn’t even read the whole article, but I had to post these first few paragraphs.

It probably sums up why I love her music so much.

Newly signed artists: often timid, pliable souls so happy to have a record deal that they can be easily molded into someone else’s vision.

Sony Music Nashville chairman/CEO Gary Overton knew during his first conversation with Miranda Lambert she wasn’t that kind of girl. “I remember having a lunch with her at the Palm before she made her first record for Sony,” says Overton, who was heading EMI Music Publishing’s Nashville division at the time. He was trying to sign Lambert as a songwriter.

“She said, ‘I can tell you this: They’re not going to tell me what music to record. I’m going to do it my way.’ I said, ‘Well, that’s kind of not the way it happens on Music Row,’ and she goes, ‘Well, that’s the way it’s going to happen with me, or I’ll just go back to Texas and make my living. I’m not going to change my music or anything else.’”

“I was telling everybody that at that point,” says Lambert, whose fourth album, “Four the Record,” is due Nov. 1. “I probably just didn’t know any better, being that young, and brand-new in town. But I’m glad I made that stance, because people took it seriously -and they still do. I’m still doing music my way, and it’s working.”

My favourite couple in country music; Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert.

What a beautiful, relaxed, country wedding. Love them both.

The Voice’s Dia Frampton did a cover/duet with country superstar Miranda Lambert last night on the finale.

Miranda is Blake Sheltons wife and also my favourite country singer.

Although I don’t think Dia did the song justice, it’s awesome to see Miranda performing on a stage in front of so many viewers.

If you haven’t heard Miranda’s latest album; “Revolution” you should really pick it up.

A big congrats goes out to my favourite country singer Miranda Lambert. Her boyfriend Blake Shelton (also a huge country star) proposed and she accepted!

Miranda is amazing. Seriously. Even if you don’t like country music, check out her album “Revolution” which just won her “Album of the Year” and “Female Vocalist of the Year” at the ACMs.

One of the best songwriters in the business.
