Carrie Underwood has revealed the name of her upcoming single off her 4th record. The song is called ‘Good Girl’.
She’s looking a little more like a bad girl in the singles artwork. Frisky!
Looking forward to hearing what Carrie has in store for us. I wasn’t a huge fan of ‘Play On’.

I’m In Nashville for the CMA Awards!
I’ve been in Nashville for the CMA Awards for the past couple or days.
I love this city. One of my favourite cities in the world.
Tonight I worked the red carpet and met some really great people and ran into some friends. There’s really nothing like southern hospitality.
Of course, I couldn’t be happier that Miranda Lambert took home some awards. I don’t think I could possible love her anymore. Congrats!
It’s 3:30am, too many parties, time for bed.

Jack White is set to release a Laura Marling single! This is exciting news, mainly because I absolutely love Miss Marling… and also because whatever Jack White touches turns to gooold.
Marling had recently recorded in White’s Nashville studio after someone in his circle introduced her music to him, and supposedly he absoluely loved it!
“”It was perfect - one take,” he said. “She’s gorgeous. Gorgeous voice and an incredible person. A wonderful girl.”
He added: “If people are coming through town [Nashville] I try to catch up with them and ask them if they want to come by before their show and record something.”
A title and release date for the song have yet to be confirmed, but it will be part of White’s Third Man Records ‘Blue Series’ and released on seven-inch vinyl.

A big congrats goes out to my favourite country singer Miranda Lambert. Her boyfriend Blake Shelton (also a huge country star) proposed and she accepted!
These two make an awesome couple. Blake is hilarious. Just read his twitter.
Miranda is amazing. Seriously. Even if you don’t like country music, check out her album “Revolution” which just won her “Album of the Year” and “Female Vocalist of the Year” at the ACMs.
One of the best songwriters in the business.

KE$HA DONATES CAT AND DOG FOOD TO HELP NASHVILLE PETS!
Popstar Kesha has donated a thousand pounds of cat and dog food to an animal shelter in her native Nashville.
The US city has been hit with floods which have left many furry friends homeless and the Tik Tok singer has done her bit to help out with the disaster relief by loading up a minivan with dog food and driving it to the Nashville Metro Animal Shelter.
“I was wheeling massive amounts of dog food and I was with my mom and we both got a little emotional,” she said. “Sometimes animals get left behind when people are going through tragedy.”
Country singer Taylor Swift has also dug deep into her own pocket to help the flood relief effort, pledging $500,000 (£339,000) to help a number of organisations tackle the disaster.

Chely Wright is coming out NOT Shelby Lynne !!
Yesterday I mentioned that someone would be coming out on the May 5th issue of People Magazine.
Rumour had it that it would be Shelby Lynne, now sources are saying that it is a different country artist - Chely Wright!
I always had an idea Chely Wright was a lesbian, as have many people - so it’s not really a huge deal to me or big news.
I do give her props for being courageous and coming out while being a country singer/songwriter.
There’s no telling how Nashville and the country music industry will react to this. It’s 2010, let’s hope well.
Chely is the FIRST major country star to come out.
Chely releases her new album “Lifted Off The Ground” on May 4th.
I was on with set in Nashville a little while back with Actress/Singer/Broadway Star/Dancer Laura Bell Bundy. Here she is cuddling her new pup Biscuit.
Laura has starred as Elle Woods in Broadway versions of “Legally Blonde” and had roles in “Wicked” & “Hairspray”.
She has also had roles on TV and in film; “The Guiding Light” - “Strangers With Candy” - “Dreamgirls” - Jumanji” - “Veronica Mars” etc.
