I’m thinking this might actually be a good film!
Will you go see it?
Here’s an extended trailer for ‘Snow White & The Huntsman’!
I think this is going to be the ultimate Snow White movie this year.
Looks dark, which I’m really digging.
Project X - a review.
Oooookay. Saw this movie last night, and I must say, I was kind of excited for it. I was really looking for a good, mindless party movie. No harm no foul. However, this movie was so unbelievably destructive; it almost ruined it for me. Besides the stress that comes with hosting an out of control party at your house (something I have done many times, sorry mom), this movie was fueled with all sorts of teenage debauchery mixed with a head full of Christmas gnome ecstasy. And to top it all off, the movie still managed to push the limit and go completely overboard when a flame-thrower wielding, ex-military, drug dealer decides to crash the party (and the neighborhood). It was a pretty stressful ride…BUT, I must say that the soundtrack was pretty solid. With everything from the trailer music “Pursuit of Happiness” (Kid Cudi, Steve Aoki remix) to the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, to Nas, to (my favourite) Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre’s “Next Episode.” And when all goes to shit, throw in some death metal to reflect the sheer chaos. See below for the track listing! All in all, the movie is a good time, but I probably won’t watch it again.
1. Trouble On My Mind – Pusha T
2. Bitch Betta Have My Money – AMG
3. Tipsy (Club Mix) – J-Kwon
4. Candy (feat. Pitbull) – Far East Movement & Pitbull
5. Ray Ban Vision – A-Trak
6. Le Disko (Boys Noize Fire Mix) – Shiny Toy Guns
7. Nasty – Nas
8. Pursuit of Happiness (Steve Aoki Dance Remix) – Kid Cudi
9. Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix) – Yeah Yeah Yeahs
10. Pretty Girls (Benny Benassi Remix) – Wale
11. The Next Episode – Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg
12. Fight Music – D12
13. Wild Boy (Ricky Luna Remix) – MGK

My fashion favourites from the 2012 Oscars!
There were a lot of lovely dresses last night, but to be honest I thought everyone played it pretty safe. My favourites were definitely the ladies from The Help (Jessica Chastain and Emma Stone). Octavia Specner and Viola Davis were definitely up there, along with the obvious choices, Michelle Williams, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rooney Mara, Rose Byrne, and Jennifer Lopez…although I could have done without the hair. It just looked painful.
Meryl Streep was fittingly dressed in a floor length gold number, but I must say that at the very top of my best dressed list was Christopher Plummer. Why drown in a sea of black and white when you can rock a blue velvet tux. Love that sprightly 82 year-old. God bless that Captain Von Trapp

We watched ‘The Craft’ together last weekend.
Forgot how much I LOVED this movie growing up. Classic!

Tony Stark gets snarky with Loki in the Avengers Super Bowl trailer
This was the real grand prize for watching the Super Bowl yesterday— the nerd boner trailer for the greatest comic book movie event of all time. Oh yes.
New Project X trailer!
Although the premise of this movie stresses me out to no end; all that destruction…my goodness. Hoping this movie has an ending like Weird Science. Regardless, I haven’t seen a good party movie in a while. So definitely looking forward to this madness.

Entertainment Weekly reunited Lisa Kurdow and Mira Sorvino (Romy & Michelle’s High School Reunino) for the upcomming cast reuinons issue.
